Today I finished writing After (a parallel story). It took a little longer than I thought it would, but that’s because it’s nearly twice as long as I expected it to be. At this point it’s the equivalent of approximately 400 printed pages.
What happens now is, I’ll spend some time revising it, then my beta readers will read it and give me feedback, I’ll do more revisions, then I’ll send it to my editor. Once she’s done with it I’ll do final edits, then release it. I fully expect to release it by the end of July. That’s a lot to do in only a few weeks, but I’m confident everything will come together.
